Differentiated tuition for non-EU students — and PhD is nearly exempt
⚠ NON-EU STUDENTS PAY DIFFERENTIATED FEES at institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education: EUR 2,902 for a bachelor's and EUR 3,950 for a master's in 2026-2027. But DOCTORAL PROGRAMMES ARE NOT SUBJECT to them and cost EUR 398 — roughly a tenth of a master's. For anyone weighing a master's against a PhD in France, that is a decisive difference. Some non-EU students are exempt and pay the French rate.
